It's nice to meet ya!

My name is Kelli and I love sports. The competition, rivalries, raw emotion, uniforms, dynasties and of course the Cinderella stories. I love it all. This is partly due to my own competitive nature and also due to growing up in New England, one of the greatest sports meccas in the world.

So how did I get into photographing sports?

I've been playing sports since I was a little kid. In high school I was a 3-sport varsity athlete and I went on to play D2 college softball at Franklin Pierce. I've always had a creative side yearning to be set free and after tearing my ACL playing women's flag football at the age of 38 in the fall of 2019, I decided to finally upgrade my photography equipment. I bought a new camera in February of 2020 and my intention was to photograph sports since I was going to be unable to participate in them while I recovered from knee surgery. Things don't always go to plan though and shortly after I received my new camera, Covid started spreading, the world shut down and sports were cancelled.

My sports photography journey may have been delayed slightly, but now I am doing all I can to make up for lost time! I feel like there are always opportunities to learn and improve but my coaches in HS and College always told me I was very coachable, so I have no doubt I'll continue to grow and evolve.
